As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution dedicated to advancing risk management solutions. You will contribute to the evolution of key rating and LGD applications used to assess and manage counterparty risk, driving innovation and efficiency within the organization. This role offers a unique chance to influence critical systems and shape the future of financial risk analysis.
Your main responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze user requirements, challenge business needs, and craft comprehensive functional specifications.
- Perform quality assurance activities by defining and executing test cases to ensure system integrity.
- Develop strong relationships with internal clients and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.
- Produce high-quality functional documentation and ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
- Provide first-line support to users, troubleshooting issues promptly and effectively.
- Apply best practices to optimize communication, problem-solving, and process efficiency.
- Proactively identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement within processes and applications.
- Work within an Agile environment, following Scrum methodologies to support iterative development.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Over 6 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in IT projects within financial institutions.
- Solid knowledge of economics, finance, risk management, or banking.
- Experience working with risk IT systems (advantageous).
- Proficiency in SQL to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence (advantageous).
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, demanding, and dynamic environment.
- Autonomous, structured, and proactive work ethic.
- Strategic, client-centric mindset with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Mentoring skills to support less experienced team members.
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation capabilities.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent English
