Senior Manual Tester – Payments and Financial Services

As a Senior Manual Tester – Payments and Financial Services, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the financial technology industry. You will contribute to testing cutting-edge payment solutions, ensuring their robustness, security, and compliance. Join us to drive innovation and ensure excellence in financial services.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans for payment systems.
• Build test data sets (JDD) and design functional tests aligned with project requirements.
• Prepare and execute functional test campaigns to validate payment flows.
• Report testing outcomes and participate actively in daily stand-ups and project meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Gherkin, MBT, and Test-Driven Development approaches.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in manual testing within payments or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of card payments, transaction flows, and messaging specifications.
• Proficiency in testing tools such as ALM, JIRA, Yest, SoapUI, Postman, and JMeter.
• Familiarity with payment flows (e.g., Cardholder, Merchant, SEPA, Instant Payment) and relevant protocols.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in French and English (communicative level).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to agile methodologies.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• ISTQB Foundation, Test Manager, or Test Analyst certification.
• Experience with scripting, parsing tools, and result analysis.
• Knowledge of API testing and flow management tools such as Kanest.

Language Required for the role:

• English (Communicative proficiency)
• French (Good interpersonal and written communication skills)
