As a Mid Automation QA Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading organization committed to delivering cutting-edge digital solutions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality, optimizing testing strategies, and supporting continuous integration and automation initiatives. Your main responsibilities:
- Perform backlog analysis to assess testing automation feasibility and contribute to the testing strategy definition.
- Specify, develop, and execute functional and non-functional test scenarios using programming languages, frameworks, and libraries such as Playwright and Katalon Studio.
- Organize the test execution pipeline, ensuring timely and effective testing processes aligned with project specifics.
- Identify, track, and report bugs/defects, ensuring fixes are validated and closed.
- Support test effort estimation and planning, considering quality targets and costs.
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best practices, processes, and initiatives to improve testing effectiveness.
- Collaborate actively within agile SCRUM teams, sharing knowledge and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Propose new automation scenarios/scripts that add value and reflect a deep understanding of business needs.
- Challenge and refine test requirements to optimize testing scope and efficiency.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in test automation within an agile SCRUM environment.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, Katalon Studio, and Jenkins.
- Proficiency with test management tools such as JIRA/XRAY and Gherkin.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to synthesize complex information clearly.
- Ability to prioritize effectively based on risks and stakes.
- Autonomous, committed, and proactive with a strong proposal mindset.
- Good command of English (Fluent).
- French language skills are a plus, but not mandatory.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Certifications or additional experience in test automation tools or methodologies.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent English.
