Porto-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 days remote per week).
As a Cybersecurity and Technology Risk Analyst , you will be working for our client, a leader in the banking sector committed to safeguarding digital assets and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will contribute to the development and implementation of the organization’s technology risk management framework, supporting a resilient, secure, and compliant banking environment. Your main responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the technology risk management framework, policies, and procedures to safeguard the bank’s infrastructure.
- Conduct business analysis for internal asset management tools, managing production features and tickets, and supporting UAT testing in collaboration with product owners.
- Support the Obsolescence team with reporting, follow-up, and dashboard creation (Power BI/Excel).
- Review first-line risks associated with third-party vendors and assist the Third-Party Risk Management team in risk follow-ups and closure.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, to report on technological risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation measures.
- Provide training, tools, and advice to staff to promote a robust risk management culture.
- Monitor and assess emerging risks and vulnerabilities across the bank’s technology infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including data protection and cybersecurity best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement controls, security measures, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop reports on technological risks, vulnerabilities, and controls for senior management and key stakeholders.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in technology risk management within the banking or financial services industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, IT risk assessment, or control frameworks.
- Strong understanding of technology infrastructure, security principles, and risk methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and Excel; knowledge of Splunk is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as COBIT and ITIL; certifications like ISO27001, ISO27005, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are advantageous.
- Fluent in English (minimum B2) and Portuguese.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Creative, proactive, results-oriented, and confident in engaging with senior stakeholders.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity and technology risk.
- Additional certifications in cybersecurity or risk management.
