As a Senior IT Support Specialist, you will be working for our client, a global leader in workplace infrastructure and collaboration technology. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining seamless IT operations, enhancing user experience, and driving technological excellence across enterprise environments. Your main responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, OS, and network incidents reported by users across Porto and Lisbon, ensuring minimal business impact.
- Manage full hardware/software lifecycle, including enterprise endpoints (Windows/macOS) and peripheral integrations.
- Provide dedicated support for meeting rooms and collaboration technology setups, focusing on Cisco and Microsoft TEAMS environments.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools to streamline support processes.
- Oversee workstation provisioning, inventory audits, and secure decommissioning protocols, adhering to corporate policies and data protection standards.
- Guide, train, and support junior support engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and structured troubleshooting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Infrastructure, Security, and SysAdmin teams during incident investigations, system rollouts, and infrastructure upgrades.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in IT User Support, Service Desk, or Workplace Infrastructure management.
- Advanced proficiency in Windows OS environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Working knowledge of macOS (basic configuration and troubleshooting).
- Practical experience with SCCM and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
- Solid scripting skills, especially PowerShell, for automation and system management.
- Deep understanding of PC hardware, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs), and collaboration room setups (Cisco, TEAMS).
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and SLA-driven service delivery.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Fluency in French.
- Certifications in related fields (ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco) are advantageous.
Language required for the role:
- Fluent English (B2 minimum).
- Portuguese language skills are highly desirable.
