Expert Cobol Developer – Banking and Epargne Platform

As a Senior Cobol Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, supporting the Bank Platform. Your expertise will help maintain, optimize, and evolve core banking systems, ensuring seamless financial operations and customer satisfaction. Your main responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and enhancement activities on legacy banking systems using Cobol and related technologies
• Analyze business needs, craft detailed design solutions, develop, and conduct testing procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure project alignment
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Utilize JCL, CICS, Endevor, and DB2 for system integration and deployment processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the platform to ensure operational stability

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 8 years of experience in Cobol development within the banking or financial services industry
• Proficiency in Cobol, JCL, CICS, Endevor, and DB2
• Experience working with Pacbase is a strong plus
• Excellent communication skills in English (fluent level) and French (C1 minimum)
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, with up to 3 remote days per week

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Certifications or prior experience with Pacbase

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent in English
• French language skills at C1 minimum
