As a Senior AI Systems Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leader in AI-driven enterprise solutions within the banking and regulated environments. You will design and deploy scalable, production-ready AI systems, from architecture to operations, enabling impactful use cases that drive digital transformation and business value. Your main responsibilities:

• Design and deploy robust AI systems in production, including RAG pipelines, multi-step agents, and LLM workflows, ensuring real-world performance and stability.
• Contribute to end-to-end solution architecture, selecting models, building APIs, and orchestrating components with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
• Implement MLOps / LLMOps / AgentOps practices such as CI/CD, prompt versioning, model registry, and continuous deployment.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and observability frameworks for AI systems, ensuring drift detection, latency management, and output quality control.
• Integrate AI Security by Design principles—manage guardrails, protect against prompt injections, and ensure traceability and auditability.
• Collaborate with data scientists and cross-functional teams to industrialize model deployments and optimize system performance.
• Write comprehensive documentation and share best practices to foster team excellence and knowledge transfer.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or AI, with at least 2 years deploying LLM/AI systems in production environments.
• Proven track record of delivering fully operational AI systems, not just POCs or demos.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including frameworks like LangChain, Transformers, and FastAPI.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure—AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Experience with MLOps tools such as GitLab, MLflow, and Airflow.
• Knowledge of AI Security by Design, model monitoring, and observability.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in banking or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of GCP or on-premise deployment, especially security or air-gapped setups.
• Additional skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, graph databases, or research paper analysis.

Language required for the role:

• Fluent in English and French.
