As a Senior IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) Developer – Workflow & Integration Specialist, you will be working for a leading financial institution within the Global Banking Client & Risks division. You will contribute to a strategic, multi-year digitalization initiative, transforming complex workflows into seamless, value-adding processes for clients and internal teams. Your main responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end process workflows using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), ensuring robustness and scalability.
- Customize and configure IBM BAW components like Process Designer, Process Portal, and Coach/Coach View UI framework to meet business needs.
- Integrate IBM BAW with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange.
- Build and enhance Coach-based user interfaces and contribute to front-end components (Angular a strong plus).
- Write and execute unit and integration tests to validate workflows and business rules.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation, API contracts (Swagger), and system architecture diagrams.
- Collaborate actively within Agile teams, participate in code reviews, and share knowledge across geographically distributed teams.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience in IBM BAW or IBM Case Manager development.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex workflows, including process modeling, Coach UI development, and system integrations.
- Strong skills in REST/SOAP Web Services, API frameworks, and SOA architecture.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/ECMAScript, SQL/PL-SQL, and experience with tools like Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and CI/CD practices.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Eligibility to work in Europe.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with Angular, React, or other modern front-end frameworks.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Familiarity with Jenkins, pipelines, and enterprise security protocols.
