Senior IT Project Manager – IT Transformation and Infrastructure

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a dynamic leader in technology and infrastructure transformation. You will orchestrate large-scale IT initiatives, ensuring seamless delivery and strategic alignment across complex projects. Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end IT transformation programs, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and quality standards.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, perform risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement in project processes and methodologies.
• Facilitate effective communication across technical and business teams.
• Scope, establish, and scale IT teams, especially in Portugal, to meet evolving project needs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and promote best practices in IT infrastructure and delivery.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 7+ years of experience leading large IT projects or programs.
• Proven expertise in IT delivery, infrastructure, or transformation initiatives.
• Strong background in setting up or expanding IT teams, particularly in Portugal.
• Excellent project management skills with relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
• Technical proficiency in IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working in an international, multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of Dutch or Portuguese language skills.
• Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.

Language required for the role: English — fluent command.
