Lisbon-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 2 remote days per week).

As a Senior Java and Angular Fullstack Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial systems provider dedicated to transforming banking operations through robust, innovative software solutions. You will contribute to building and optimizing critical banking systems, driving technological excellence and impactful change in the financial sector.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain advanced Java applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot to support banking operations.
• Design and implement front-end features with Angular, ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Utilize SQL and PL/SQL to manage and query relational databases effectively.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitLab, Kubernetes, and scripting to ensure reliable deployment.
• Contribute to system reliability and performance with tools like DynaTrace, Kibana, and Kafka messaging.
• Support version control, code review, and continuous improvement of development processes.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Java developer.
• Proficiency with Java 8+, Spring Boot, SQL, and Angular.
• Experience with GitLab, Kubernetes, and scripting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize complex workflows.
• Excellent command of English (C1 level).

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Knowledge of Spark, ETL, Liquibase, DevOps, ArgoCD, Vault, JFrog, Kafka, or related technologies.
• Experience working within banking or financial systems.

English – Communicative level.
