Senior Java / Spring Boot Lead Developer – Financial Services

As a Senior Java / Spring Boot Lead Developer, you will be working for our client, a prominent player in the banking and financial services industry, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge lease application solutions. Your main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy robust microservices architectures using Java and Spring Boot to support lease applications.
• Analyze business requirements to translate them into scalable technical solutions, ensuring system resilience and performance.
• Review and optimize existing codebases to ensure high quality, security, and maintainability.
• Enforce best practices in software development, including TDD, clean coding, and automated testing.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines with Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
• Provide technical mentorship through code reviews, pair programming, and documentation of architecture and APIs.
• Ensure seamless integration of software modules and support end-to-end deployment processes.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 9+ years of backend development experience in enterprise Java environments.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem (N4 Mastery).
• In-depth knowledge of microservices design, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito, and DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.
• Fluent in English and French (C1/C2 level), with excellent communication and leadership skills.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience within banking or leasing software platforms.
• Exposure to cloud-native architecture and modern application monitoring tools.
