Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer – Finance ALM

As a Senior PL/SQL Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading banking group committed to transforming financial services through innovative applications. You will contribute to critical projects within the Finance ALM domain, helping optimize and support essential banking applications with your expertise in SQL performance, complex queries, and application development. This role offers a dynamic environment for professional growth at the forefront of finance technology.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries and PL/SQL code that enhance application performance.
• Understand client needs with a critical eye and deliver innovative solutions aligned with project goals.
• Contribute to application testing and validation, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Provide support for applications, including on-call activities, to ensure seamless operations.
• Collaborate within an Agile team environment, participating in Scrum/Kanban practices.
• Implement version control, CI/CD processes, and adopt TDD methodologies to improve development workflows.
• Keep abreast of technological trends and incorporate best practices into the development process.
• Communicate effectively across teams, ensuring clear documentation of technical solutions.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Over 8 years of experience as a Database developer with a focus on Oracle PL-SQL.
• Proficiency in SQL performance tuning and writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of code versioning, CI/CD tools, and TDD.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level).

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Java or Python development.
• Knowledge of French language skills.
