Porto-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 days remote per week).
As a Senior QA Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the software solutions sector, dedicated to delivering high-quality digital products across various business domains. You will collaborate with a diverse team of developers, business analysts, and applicative support across Paris and Porto to ensure smooth, reliable, and secure application performance, fostering continuous improvement and excellence in testing practices.
Your main responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize the test backlog, coordinating tasks among project team members to ensure timely delivery.
- Supervise the execution of manual and automated test cases, ensuring adherence to test strategies and quality standards.
- Monitor test progress, identify bottlenecks, and facilitate effective communication across QA and project teams.
- Identify, document, and report defects with clarity, prioritize them according to severity, and verify fixes post-resolution.
- Provide guidance and technical support to team members, fostering a collaborative testing environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by proposing new tools, refining testing methodologies, and maintaining the QA knowledge base.
- Assist in evaluating test strategies and making data-driven adjustments to optimize testing efficiency.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 6 years of proven experience as a QA Analyst within diverse software testing projects.
- Extensive knowledge of different testing types including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Hands-on experience in creating and reviewing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira and Xray.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (fluent level preferred).
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic, cross-functional team.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Certifications in software testing or automation tools.
- Experience with automation frameworks and scripting.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent English (both verbal and written).
