Join a dynamic team in Porto and be part of a digital transformation that empowers clients across the financial sector\u2014pioneering scalable, secure backend architectures that drive business performance and redefine industry standards.<\/p> <p><strong>Your main responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and deploy robust microservices architectures using Java and Spring Boot to support lease applications.<\/li> <li>Analyze business requirements to translate them into scalable technical solutions, ensuring system resilience and performance.<\/li> <li>Review and optimize existing codebases to ensure high quality, security, and maintainability.<\/li> <li>Enforce best practices in software development, including TDD, clean coding, and automated testing.<\/li> <li>Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI\/CD pipelines with Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.<\/li> <li>Provide technical mentorship through code reviews, pair programming, and documentation of architecture and APIs.<\/li> <li>Ensure seamless integration of software modules and support end-to-end deployment processes.<\/li> <\/ul> <p><strong>You&#8217;re ideal for this role if you have:<\/strong><\/p> <ul> <li>Minimum 9+ years of backend development experience in enterprise Java environments.<\/li> <li>Expertise in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem (N4 Mastery).<\/li> <li>In-depth knowledge of microservices design, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.<\/li> <li>Hands-on experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.<\/li> <li>Proficiency with testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito, and DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.<\/li> <li>Fluent in English and French (C1\/C2 level), with excellent communication and leadership skills.<\/li> <\/ul> <p><strong>It is a strong plus if you have:<\/strong><\/p> <ul> <li>Experience within banking or leasing software platforms.<\/li> <li>Exposure to cloud-native architecture and modern application monitoring tools.<\/li> <\/ul> <p><strong>Language Required for the role:<\/strong><\/p> <ul> <li>Fluent in English and French<\/li> <\/ul> <p><strong>Eligibility for the role:<\/strong><\/p> <ul> <li>Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role.<\/li> <\/ul> <p><strong>#MAKEYourCareerBETTER<\/strong><\/p> <p>Interested?
