Cyber Security Engineer

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will work for our client – one of the largest TIC companies globally. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be part of a SOC team responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and investigating cyber threats

Your main responsibilities: be a Cyber Hero:

• Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause
• Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities
• Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard
• Stay current on Information Technology (IT) security trends and news
• Develop company-wide best practices for IT security
• Perform penetration testing
• Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management
• Server incident analysis 
• Endpoint incident analysis
• Database incident analysis
• Application incident analysis
• Analysis of Infrastructure incidents

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• 4+ years of experience as a cyber security analyst
• Experience in information security or related field
• Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques
• Understanding
• Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
• Professional experience with SIEM / Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Rapid7 InsightIDR
• Familiarity with Microsoft, Linux servers
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365
• Familiarity with Web, IIS, Apache
• Familiarity with Routers, Switch, Firewalls, WAF, Anti DOS, IPS, SSL
• Knowledge of network architecture, systems administration, and application platforms
• Good communication skills in English & Portuguese
