Front-End Developer Angular

This is a Porto-based hybrid opportunity – 3x from home per week

As a Front-End Developer, you will be working for our client – a leader in the financial industry, exemplifying innovation, agility, and unwavering commitment to its clients. You will be responsible for engineering, developing, and supporting a library of UI Angular components based on the Design System of the client’s Group, working closely with a dedicated UX team.

Your main responsibilities:

• Work with backend devs and stakeholders to convert needs into Angular.js front-end code
• Build scalable Angular.js components, directives, and services
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Review code, boost efficiency, propose optimizations
• Solve issues, keep apps running smoothly
• Stay updated on Angular.js and front-end trends.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Advanced knowledge of Javascript
• Good knowledge of Angular 
• Good knowledge of semantic HTML5  
• Good knowledge of Typescript  
• Good knowledge of CSS and preprocessors like SASS/SCSS or LESS 
• Good knowledge of RxJS 
• Good knowledge of unit testing, with Jest, Jasmine/Karma, or similar 
• Good knowledge of versioning systems, like Git 
• Good knowledge of NPM – managing libraries and dependencies 
• Familiarity with Accessibility 
• Knowledge of E2E testing, with tools like Cypress 
• Knowledge of Web components  
• Knowledge of frameworks like Vue, React, or others 
• Knowledge of code quality control tools, like Sonar 
• Knowledge of linters and formatters, like ESLint and Prettier 
• English: B2
• Knows or is willing to learn French
