VDI System Administrator

This is a Porto-based hybrid opportunity – 3x from home per week

As a VDI Platform Administrator, you will be working for our client – a leader in the financial industry, exemplifying innovation, agility, and unwavering commitment to its clients. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the stability, security, and performance of the vital VDI virtualization platform, serving around 4,000 users globally

Your main responsibilities:

• Oversee the VDI Horizon virtualization platform 
• Maintain operational readiness for seamless service delivery
• Ensure system application quality, productivity, and security
• Contribute to reliability, security, and optimization efforts
• Deliver and maintain ESXi, NSX, and VSAN infrastructures
• Analyze and resolve incidents with effective solutions
• Utilize scripting tools, particularly PowerShell

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience of VDI Admin experience, preferably in finance
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficient in ITIL principles and ITIL-based environments
• In-depth understanding of VMware technologies
• English: B2
