Location & Work Model: Porto-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 days remote per week).
As a Senior C# .NET Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution dedicated to advancing regulatory compliance through cutting-edge technology. You will contribute to developing and optimizing equity regulatory systems, ensuring seamless integration, and troubleshooting critical processes. Your main responsibilities:
- Participate in the enhancement of regulatory processes and tools related to data development and monitoring.
- Develop and refine processes aligned with evolving regulatory requirements and business objectives, focusing on equity derivatives.
- Collaborate closely with teams managing Sophis Front to Back and TRR business units to ensure cohesive system integration.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered within the regulatory systems.
- Monitor project progress, deliver quality solutions, and share knowledge proactively with team members.
- Support major releases or high-impact events by extending intervention time, including occasional night or weekend work.
- Work with business analysts, regulatory teams, and IT colleagues to ensure compliance and contribute to the overarching regulatory framework.
- Apply agile methodology to efficiently prioritize and execute tasks within the team.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum of 9 years’ experience in software development, particularly within financial or regulatory systems.
- Strong expertise in C# (.NET) and Oracle/PLSQL.
- Hands-on experience with development tools such as Git, CLR, XLD, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Good understanding of Sophis customization, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of financial regulations impacting trading systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with autonomy, attention to detail, and rigor.
- Excellent team spirit, adaptability, and problem-solving skills in a cross-functional environment.
- Fluent in English (minimum B1 level).
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with C++, Java, Python.
- Proficiency in Power BI for dashboarding.
- Scripts in PowerShell or CMD.
