Lisbon-based, hybrid (up to 2 remote days per week)
As a Software Architect, you will be working for our client, a leader in technology-driven enterprise solutions. Reporting to the CTO within their Expertise Development Pole, you will play a pivotal role in driving expertise development, leading innovative projects, and accelerating digital transformation — blending technical excellence with a genuine passion for innovation.
Your main responsibilities:
- Lead software development teams hands-on in the implementation of innovative projects.
- Explore emerging technologies and propose solutions that deliver tangible business value.
- Lead technical decisions in projects involving cloud environments, promoting best practices and resource optimization.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the full software lifecycle, from conception to post-production monitoring.
- Define development standards and guide teams on best practices across frontend and backend frameworks.
- Design and evolve scalable, secure, maintainable architectures for enterprise applications.
- Integrate containerization and orchestration platforms to ensure efficient, reliable deployment.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Proven experience as a Software/Solutions Architect or senior hands-on engineer.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Hands-on experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Hands-on experience with at least one backend language (Java, Python, or Node.js).
- Experience with containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).
- Solid knowledge of microservices architecture, CI/CD, and process automation.
- Strong technical curiosity, a continuous-learning mindset, and excellent communication with both technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to have (not required):
- Broader exposure across multiple clouds, frameworks, or languages.
- DevOps practices and toolchain experience.
- French language skills (B2+).
Language required for the role: English – C1 or above.
