Senior Azure Application Operations Engineer

As a Senior Azure Application Operations Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution committed to innovative digital banking solutions. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and reliability of critical applications hosted on Azure, supporting a global technology ecosystem. Your main responsibilities:

• Integrate and onboard applications into the Azure environment, ensuring smooth deployment and configuration
• Provide Level 2/3 support, including incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Monitor application health using tools such as Dynatrace, SolarWinds, and Splunk to ensure optimal performance
• Manage releases, patches, and routine maintenance activities to uphold system stability
• Enhance scalability, resilience, and performance of applications through continuous improvements
• Contribute to automation initiatives, including CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates
• Participate in SLA/SLO monitoring and operational KPIs to drive service quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational procedures and contribute to post-mortem analyses and continuous improvement efforts

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud operations, particularly with Azure applications
• Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Functions, SQL, Storage, and Key Vault
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, SolarWinds, and Splunk
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks
• Experience with DevOps / GitOps practices and pipelines for application deployment
• Experience in RUN operations and incident management, with strong troubleshooting and log analysis skills
• Excellent cross-team collaboration and communication abilities
• Fluent in English (communicative level)

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Knowledge of French language (nice to have)
