As a Senior CloudOps Engineer – Application Support & Deployment on Private Cloud, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the banking industry, responsible for operational excellence of mission-critical applications hosted on private Kubernetes/Docker clouds. Your expertise will ensure high availability, performance, and security, contributing to innovative banking solutions and continuous business growth.
Your main responsibilities:
- Integrate and onboard applications onto the private Kubernetes/Docker platform
- Provide Level 2/3 support, including incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Monitor application health and performance using tools like Dynatrace, SolarWinds, and Splunk
- Manage releases, patches, and ongoing application maintenance
- Drive scalability, resilience, and performance improvements for applications
- Contribute to automation and reliability initiatives using GitLab CI/CD, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code
- Participate in SLA/SLO monitoring and operational KPIs tracking
- Support post-mortem analyses and continuous improvement efforts
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud operations, application support, or DevOps roles
- Strong knowledge of containerized workloads on Kubernetes/Docker, including self-hosted databases, storage, and secrets management (Vault/Kubernetes Secrets)
- Proficiency in monitoring & observability tools such as Dynatrace, SolarWinds, and Splunk
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm
- Practical skills in Kubernetes deployment and operations (kubectl, Helm)
- Experience with Docker containerization
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation
- Proven incident management and troubleshooting skills (Level 2/3 support)
- Excellent communication skills in English (communicative level)
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Knowledge of French language
- Relevant certifications in cloud or DevOps areas
Language Required for the role:
- English – Communicative proficiency required
