Senior Delivery Manager – IT & Fintech Systems

As a Senior Delivery Manager – IT & Fintech Systems, you will be working for our client in the dynamic payments and banking industry. You will drive the delivery and operational excellence of critical systems, ensuring seamless project execution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination. Your main responsibilities:

• Build and maintain delivery plans based on priorities, capacity, risks, and dependencies.
• Coordinate engineering, QA, Support, Infrastructure, Web, Backend, and Mobile teams to ensure aligned execution.
• Monitor delivery commitments, milestones, risks, blockers, and implement corrective actions proactively.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies; ensure accurate tracking in Jira and Confluence.
• Coordinate releases, deployments, Go/No-Go decisions, and post-release follow-up activities.
• Lead operational incident management, root-cause analysis, and preventive measures.
• Manage operational delivery and RUN activities of the current platform, ensuring stability and performance.
• Lead migration activities, legacy support, and application decommissioning projects.
• Provide clear delivery reporting and escalate issues requiring management intervention.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across delivery, operational processes, documentation, and team collaboration.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 9 years of proven experience in IT delivery management, technical project management, or a similar coordination role within software engineering teams.
• Strong expertise in delivery planning, risk mitigation, incident management, and production releases.
• Experience working within Agile environments, effectively managing multiple teams and stakeholders in a distributed organization.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to challenge unrealistic commitments and escalate risks early.
• Fluent in French, English (professional level), and Portuguese.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Experience in payments, banking, fintech, application migration, or system decommissioning.
