As a Mid-Level Support Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial industry institution, within the FCA/SSF department responsible for maintaining and optimizing critical financial information systems. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring system resilience, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence, enabling the organization to navigate complex financial landscapes with confidence.

Your main responsibilities:

• Perform corrective maintenance, change management, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide first-level support for incident management and support requests via Jira
• Conduct unit and regression testing to ensure seamless system updates
• Support deployment activities in staging (UAT) and production environments
• Update and maintain comprehensive application documentation
• Address technical obsolescence and security vulnerabilities through proactive operational activities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with project teams, production, and business stakeholders
• Manage obsolescence issues, schedule infrastructure upgrades, and optimize processes and queries
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives like lessons learned and operational excellence

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in support or operational roles within IT or finance sectors
• Strong knowledge of run operations, web application development, and database management
• Proficiency with SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server)
• Experience with Java, Angular/Spring Boot, Git, and CI/CD tools like ArgoCD and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Kafka, Kibana, Elasticsearch, and infrastructure management
• Rigor, precision, autonomy, excellent interpersonal skills, and service orientation
• Ability to adapt communication style depending on the audience (technical and functional)

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Certifications in Java, Kubernetes, or related technologies
• Experience working in banking or financial services environments

Language required for the role:

• Fluent in English (communicative level)
• Good command of French (B2+ level)
