Mid-Level Manual QA Tester – SQL, JIRA, Confluence

Lisbon-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 2 remote days per week).

As a Mid-Level Manual QA Tester, you will be working for our client, a key player in the IT and software quality industry. You will help ensure the delivery of high-quality, robust solutions that meet client standards and expectations, contributing to innovative digital projects and continuous improvement.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and document manual test cases to validate software functionality and ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to identify, report, and track bugs and issues using JIRA.
• Utilize SQL to perform data validation and support testing activities.
• Maintain and update test documentation using Confluence.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Engage in team meetings and communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
• Demonstrate analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to improve testing processes.
• Manage your tasks proactively, maintaining organization and rigor in fast-paced environments.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 2 years of experience in manual testing or QA roles.
• Strong skills in SQL, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, with French language skills considered a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a proactive mindset.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Experience with squash or other testing tools.
• Certifications related to QA or software testing.

Language Required for the role:

• Good command of English (Communicative level).
• French language skills are desirable.
