Senior Automation Test Engineer – Payments & Microservices

As a Senior Automation Test Engineer – Payments & Microservices, you will be working for a leading financial technology provider, specializing in card payments and merchant acquiring platforms. Your expertise will help ensure the robustness and reliability of high-profile digital payment systems, supporting major clients across Europe in managing their payment workflows securely and efficiently. Your main responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and execute automated test suites for web UIs (Angular) and backend microservices using Selenium or Cypress.
• Collaborate with developers to validate RESTful APIs, web service integrations, and client-side UI functionality.
• Translate user stories and use cases into comprehensive test plans, including non-regression scenarios.
• Perform UAT and homologation activities, log defects, and ensure comprehensive quality coverage across payment platforms.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 7+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Selenium or Cypress for test automation.
• In-depth understanding of Angular web frontends, REST API testing, and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of multi-threading, non-blocking code concepts, and data-oriented application design.
• Familiarity with Agile-Scrum methodology, Jira, and Confluence.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in card payments, monétique, or merchant acquiring domains.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent in English, with excellent command in spoken and written communication.
