Mid-Level Oracle Database Administrator – DevOps & Performance

As a Mid-Level Oracle Database Administrator, you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the database management sector. You will help ensure the stability, security, and performance of critical Oracle databases, empowering seamless business operations and supporting digital transformation initiatives. Your main responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize Oracle 19c databases to ensure peak performance and high availability.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues effectively, minimizing downtime.
• Manage Oracle RAC and Single Instance configurations, supporting scalability and disaster recovery plans.
• Utilize Oracle RMAN for backup and recovery procedures, guaranteeing data integrity.
• Implement and manage Oracle Data Guard to ensure data protection and disaster recovery readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate tasks, improve infrastructure reliability, and support DevOps practices.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Solid expertise in Oracle 19c with hands-on experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Proven knowledge of Oracle RAC, RMAN, and Data Guard.
• Experience working with ticketing systems and supporting production environments.
• Good team player with excellent communication skills.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Experience with MS-SQL, MySQL, Postgres, and/or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation tools.
• Certifications in Oracle or related database technologies.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent in English (B2 minimum) and Portuguese.
