Mid-Level Business Data Analyst – Oracle & SQL Expert

As a Mid-Level Business Data Analyst, you will be working for our client in the finance technology industry, dedicated to optimizing business strategies through powerful data analysis. Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, including JOINs, subqueries, and analytical functions, to extract and analyze data from Oracle databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define data requirements for reporting and analysis.
• Analyze data models (tables, views, primary/foreign keys) to support business insights and decision-making.
• Contribute to data architecture understanding, including concepts related to Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, influencing operational decisions and strategic improvements.
• Maintain high standards of data integrity, accuracy, and security in all analysis work.
• Support ongoing process improvements through data insights and strategic recommendations.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 4 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and analyze databases.
• Hands-on experience working with Oracle databases using tools like PL/SQL Developer, TOAD, DBeaver, or SQL Developer.
• Solid understanding of data models, schema, and data architecture concepts.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level mandatory).
• Knowledge of Portuguese (C1 level) is highly desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously, coordinate cross-functionally, and influence stakeholders effectively.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working with Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
• Knowledge of French at B2 level.
• Certifications in data analysis or related fields.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent in English (C1 level required).
• Portuguese (C1 level) highly advantageous.
• French (B2 level) nice to have.
