As a Senior Payment Platform Application Manager, you will be working for our client, a globally recognized leader in financial services. Your main responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of critical payment processing applications, ensuring stability and compliance
• Manage incident and change management processes within banking or financial services environments
• Collaborate on system integration efforts, including interface development with APIs, message queues, and clearing systems like TIPS and RT1
• Implement troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning for complex IT landscapes
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless updates and enhancements in line with evolving regulatory standards
• Monitor and enforce security protocols, including fraud prevention, sanctions screening, and information security measures
• Maintain deep understanding of ISO 20022 message formats, SEPA SCT/SDD, SEPA Instant Payments, and other relevant standards
• Drive automation and DevOps practices to improve deployment cycles and operational efficiency

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Over 5 years of experience in payment processing or related banking IT environments
• Strong knowledge of European payment schemes, especially SEPA SCT/SDD, SEPA Instant Payments (RT1), and T2
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux and Windows Server environments, scripting, and system monitoring
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL, including PL/SQL and SQL
• Familiarity with application servers, web services (REST/SOAP), and middleware architectures
• Deep understanding of core banking systems, payment architectures, and regulatory requirements

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications or experience in ITSM, ITIL, or DevOps tools and practices
• Knowledge of cloud environments and data-center operations
• Experience with security frameworks, anti-fraud solutions, or compliance systems
