Senior Data Engineer – Informatica PowerCenter & Data Masking

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading banking group dedicated to pioneering innovative data solutions. You will contribute to developing, maintaining, and modernizing enterprise data integration workflows with a focus on data masking, ensuring robust protection and seamless data flow across environments. Your main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize data integration workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Implement and support data masking solutions to safeguard sensitive data across multiple environments.
• Troubleshoot complex ETL processes, identify performance bottlenecks, and improve workflow efficiency.
• Analyze production incidents and perform root cause analysis to ensure data integrity and stability.
• Contribute to data quality initiatives by defining validation rules, monitoring data controls, and implementing remediation strategies.
• Support deployment, testing, and industrialization activities across development, test, and production environments.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation to support ongoing operations and enhancements.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, ETL, or related fields.
• Hands-on expertise with Informatica PowerCenter, including data masking, sessions, transformations, and error handling.
• Strong SQL skills and a good understanding of relational databases.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and optimizing large-scale ETL workflows.
• Fluent command of English, with excellent communication skills.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Informatica IDMC/CDI, PowerCenter-to-IDMC migration, CI/CD processes, Python or Shell scripting, and Agile environments.

Language required for the role:

• Fluent English.
