SOC Specialist

This is a Hybrid Lisbon-based opportunity.

As a SOC Specialist, you will work for our client – a global IT leader driving innovation with cutting-edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing security operations to safeguard and defend against cyber threats.

Your main responsibilities:

• Guarantee adherence to industry standards and regulations for information security
• Implement measures to achieve and uphold Certified Information Security Compliance
• Leverage ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity and CSFPC skills for effective security measures
• Demonstrate proficiency in FortiADC and FortiManager technologies to enhance cybersecurity measures
• Spearhead the development of information security policies and best practices
• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive incident response plans, ensuring effective mitigation and response to security incidents

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Hold certifications such as Certified Information Security Compliance Officer, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, and CSFPC
• Proficient in FortiADC and FortiManager technologies
• Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity tools and technologies
• Strong analytical skills for cybersecurity analyses and vulnerability assessments
• Competency in utilizing CompTIA CySA+ skills for effective security solutions
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in developing information security policies
• Ability to lead incident response planning and execution
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Effective communication with stakeholders on security-related matters
• Capability to develop and deliver effective cybersecurity training programs
• Ability to foster a culture of security through awareness initiatives
• Commitment to staying informed about industry trends and emerging threats
• Proactive engagement in continuous learning for ongoing improvement
