Senior Angular Developer

This is a Porto-based hybrid opportunity – 3 days from home per week.

As an Angular Developer, you will play a pivotal role in our IT division, focusing on securing network infrastructure through innovative automation and development. You will contribute to a critical mission: enhancing the security and efficiency of our network systems via the Angular framework.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead the development and automation of network security administration tools using Angular.
• Design and implement code based on precise specifications to improve network security processes.
• Engage in agile development practices and participate in coding sprints aimed at continuous improvement.
• Spearhead the automation of security rules implementation, streamlining operations.
• Thoroughly document the developed tools, their operation, troubleshooting practices, etc.
• Conduct and oversee rigorous testing phases to ensure the highest security standards.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Expertise in web applications & API architectures with a strong focus on Angular framework (5+ years of experience preferred).
• Proficient understanding of CI/CD concepts, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a development team and to lead by example.
• Experience or interest in coaching or mentoring junior developers.
• A foundational knowledge of network security principles is advantageous but not required.
