Senior Data Engineer

This is a hybrid Lisbon-based opportunity – 2x in the office

As a Data Engineer for our client, you’ll be at the forefront of data solutions, crafting applications on cutting-edge platforms. You will be responsible for architecting innovative data solutions for actionable insights.

Your main responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot incidents and anomalies in Linux, SQL, DataStage, and other systems.

• Develop and maintain shell scripts for task automation and system enhancement.

• Manage and manipulate data effectively using SQL skills.

• Utilize Git for version control to track and manage code changes efficiently.

• Produce clear and concise technical specifications and development comments

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Proficiency in Linux administration and command-line operations.

• Strong shell scripting skills for automation and process improvement.

• Thorough understanding of SQL for database management and manipulation.

• Basic familiarity with DataStage or similar ETL tools.

• Proficiency in Git for version control management in a collaborative environment.

• Minimum C1 level proficiency in French for effective communication within the team, with English proficiency as a plus
