Ready to build cutting-edge solutions in market risk management?

This is a Porto-based hybrid opportunity – 3 days from home per week.

As a Senior Full Stack Java Developer, you will be working for our client, responsible for building and maintaining robust systems to support trading activities monitoring within the Market Risk department.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software solutions in collaboration with IT Risk Business Analysts.
  • Perform technical analysis and provide macro-level estimations.
  • Lead the development, testing, and documentation of new features.
  • Manage parallel run processes and software releases.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

  • Strong experience as a Full Stack Java Developer with Java 1.8x.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL (Sybase or MS SQL Server).
  • Knowledge of Unix scripting.
  • Professional fluency in English.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Control-M or $Universe scheduler.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and branching strategies.
  • Knowledge of Perl scripting.
