Senior Support Developer – Corporate Investment Banking

This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – work from home for 3 days per week.

As a Senior Support Developer, you will work for our client – a global IT leader driving innovation with cutting-edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for supporting Java 17/Spring Boot applications, developing Linux Shell scripts, managing code with GitLab, running JUnit tests, and handling logs with Log4j and S3.

Your main responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Java 17/Spring Boot applications, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth operation

• Develop and maintain scripts using Linux Shell for automation and system tasks

• Collaborate with teams using GitLab for version control and code integration, ensuring timely releases

• Implement and monitor unit tests using JUnit, ensuring code quality and reliability

• Monitor application logs with Log4j and manage S3 buckets for storing and retrieving application data

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot for backend development.

• Experience with Linux and Shell scripting for server and task automation.

• Hands-on experience with GitLab for source control and collaboration.

• Knowledge of JUnit for unit testing and Log4j for log management.

• English and French proficiency (B2+) for clear communication in an international environment
