Senior Business Analyst – Requirements & Technical Documentation

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the financial sector. You will play a key role in shaping requirements, developing comprehensive documentation, and ensuring clear communication between business stakeholders and technical teams. Your main responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements to produce detailed functional specifications and user stories that drive project success.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation to facilitate project clarity and stakeholder understanding.
• Collaborate proactively with business stakeholders to understand needs, and liaise effectively with technical teams to ensure smooth implementation.
• Design and execute test cases, manage test documentation, and validate deliverables against requirements.
• Utilize SQL queries and possess a solid understanding of database models to support data analysis and validation activities.
• Contribute to the technical architecture discussions, ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards and best practices.
• Support agile methodologies by participating in story mapping sessions, sprint planning, and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure clear, proactive communication across all project phases, fostering transparency and alignment among teams.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within complex projects.
• Strong proficiency in requirements analysis, functional specifications, user stories, and story mapping.
• Extensive experience with requirements documentation and tests execution.
• Proficiency in writing functional and technical documentation.
• Good knowledge of SQL queries and database modeling.
• Solid understanding of technical architecture and agile practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proactive and autonomous working style.
• Previous experience working with business and technical stakeholders.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in the banking industry.
• Knowledge of parametrization and configuration processes.

Language Required for the role:

• Good command of English (C1 level), with excellent communicative skills.
