Senior Data Visualization and Data Engineer – Power BI, SQL, Python, GCP

As a Senior Data Visualization and Data Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leader in transforming raw data into strategic assets. You will help build a cutting-edge Data Platform to deliver powerful, insightful dashboards and metrics that drive business success and enable smarter decisions across the organization. This role offers an exciting chance to shape the future of data visualization and engineering within a dynamic environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and semantic models using Power BI, ensuring clarity, performance, and relevance.
• Develop and implement new metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators in collaboration with business units.
• Build and optimize complex, unified data models, including relationships, grains, and dimensional structures.
• Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataiku, ensuring reliable data processing and integration.
• Create and maintain dbt projects, including models, documentation, lineage, reusable transformations, and automated data quality tests.
• Write, review, and optimize advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting with BigQuery.
• Utilize Python for data processing, automation, and engineering tasks to enhance platform capabilities.
• Work within the GCP ecosystem, managing BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer/Airflow, and IAM.
• Use Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices to provision and manage GCP resources.
• Ensure data quality, governance, metadata, documentation, and lineage are maintained across the data lifecycle.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, semantic models, and deployment processes with a focus on security and access control.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering and visualization roles.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, dbt, Dataiku, SQL, Python, GCP/BigQuery, and Terraform.
• Fluent in English (C1 level).

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Fluency in French.
