Senior Test Governance & Quality Manager – Manual Testing Expert

As a Senior Test Governance & Quality Manager, you will be working for our client, a leading banking group, specializing in Lease applications within the Financial & Regulatory domain. Your expertise will help define, implement, and sustain testing standards and quality frameworks that elevate IT delivery and stakeholder confidence.

Your main responsibilities:

• Define and promote testing governance standards, ensuring adherence across IT teams.
• Contribute to the development and monitoring of testing quality KPIs.
• Support the implementation of robust testing methodologies and quality assurance frameworks.
• Train, coach, and mentor IT teams on manual testing practices and quality standards.
• Identify gaps in testing practices and propose continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and the Test Quality Manager to ensure testing consistency and quality.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 9+ years of solid experience in manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, processes, and quality assurance principles.
• Proven experience with testing standards, KPIs, and process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and support IT teams.
• ISTQB certification (preferably Advanced Level Test Management) is a strong plus.
• Fluent in French and proficient in English.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in banking or financial services environments.
• Additional certifications in testing or quality management.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent French (mandatory)
• Fluent English
