In support of ambitious climate goals (namely, a 30% reduction in agricultural greenhouse gas emissions by 2030) our client, a sustainability-driven organisation, set out to encourage widespread adoption of climate-smart farming practices. These include cover cropping, reduced tillage, crop rotation, and precision nitrogen use.
To make this vision a reality, the organisation needed a robust digital platform capable of monitoring, reporting, and verifying (MRV) these practices. The system had to deliver reliable data, provide farmer incentives, ensure data privacy, and be scalable and easy to use, even for users with limited digital literacy.
