Senior C++ Software Engineer – Remote Connectivity & R&D

As a Senior C++ Software Engineer – Remote Connectivity & R&D, you will be working for our client, a leader in remote connectivity software development. Your main responsibilities:

• Design and develop multi-threaded, high-performance server- and client-side applications to support remote connectivity systems.
• Optimize software for resource-constrained devices to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Ensure software stability, security, and efficiency across a vast user base.
• Recommend architectural improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best practices into ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and functionalities.
• Maintain clean, well-structured code following design patterns, with an emphasis on object-oriented programming.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on C++.
• Strong expertise in object-oriented programming, Clean Code principles, and design patterns.
• Experience developing multi-threaded applications and optimizing performance.
• Interest or experience in web technologies such as TypeScript, HTML5, or C# is a plus.
• Fluency in English; German or Portuguese language skills are advantageous.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of embedded systems or resource-limited device programming.
• Certifications in software architecture or related disciplines.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
