Porto-based opportunity with hybrid work model.
As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer, you will be working for our client in the banking and finance industry, contributing to the design, development, and enhancement of a critical KYC Referential application. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that support vital financial processes, fostering innovation and operational excellence across multiple projects.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement both front-end and back-end components of the KYC Referential application.
- Ensure optimal quality and performance by writing clean, testable code and executing comprehensive testing.
- Maintain coding standards through code reviews and addressing technical debt to uphold best practices.
- Collaborate across multiple projects, sharing knowledge and implementing best practices seamlessly.
- Manage application maintenance requests, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt swiftly to evolving project needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize application disruptions.
- Stay informed about the latest web development technologies and trends to continuously improve the application.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer in an agile environment.
- Proficiency with Java EE, Spring (Boot, Batch, MVC), Maven, JBoss.
- Experience with Angular 2+ frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Software Design Patterns.
- Knowledge of relational databases, especially Oracle.
- Experience with Unit testing using JUnit/Mockito or similar libraries.
- Familiarity with Linux / Shell Scripting (nice to have).
- Experience with continuous integration tools and principles.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and easy-to-understand code.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Knowledge of Linux / Shell Scripting.
- Certifications or experience with additional scripting or automation tools.
Language required for the role:
- Fluent English (both written and verbal).
