Angular Developer with French

This is a Porto-based hybrid opportunity – 2 days from home per week.

As a Front-end Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading investment bank, developing and supporting a library of UI Angular components based on a comprehensive design system. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated UX team and engage in R&D of web technologies, including the development of additional libraries for Angular or other frameworks.

Your main responsibilities:

• Engineer, develop, and support a library of UI Angular components.
• Collaborate with the UX team to integrate design system elements.
• Engage in R&D for web technologies and library development.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing with Jest, Jasmine/Karma, or similar.
• Manage version control using Git and handle library dependencies with NPM.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (5+ years).
• Proficiency in Angular (experienced with versions 9+) (3+ years).
• Strong understanding of semantic HTML5 and TypeScript (3+ years).
• Expertise in CSS and preprocessors like SASS/SCSS or LESS.
• Good knowledge of RxJS (3+ years) and familiarity with Accessibility.
• Experience with versioning systems, like Git.
• Knowledge of E2E testing tools like Cypress, and code quality control tools like Sonar.
• Good command of English and French.
• Critical thinker, committed, ambitious, open-minded, level-headed, and a team player.
