Data Engineer Alteryx – Banking Sector

This is a Porto-based hybrid opportunity – 3 days from home per week.

As a Data Engineer, you will be instrumental for a prominent banking sector client, known for their forward-thinking solutions and commitment to excellence. You will play a critical role in advancing our data management strategies and enhancing our overall data capabilities.

Your main responsibilities:

• Work within an international data team to enhance practices and promote integration across locations.
• Develop and maintain workflows to optimize data processes and ensure compliance with IT governance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate their needs into robust data solutions.
• Participate actively in both local and global projects, contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Uphold data integrity and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• A BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience, particularly with Alteryx and VBA.
• Strong skills in SQL and familiarity with data architecture and ETL processes.
• Excellent communication abilities and proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
• A proactive mindset, keen on driving team success and innovation.
