DevOps Coach

This is a hybrid Lisbon-based opportunity – 2x in the office

As a DevOps Coach, you will work for our client – a global IT leader driving innovation with cutting-edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for guiding and mentoring teams in the adoption of DevOps practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Oversee the transition to automated infrastructure platforms and CI/CD pipelines
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and ArgoCD
• Organize and lead workshops and training sessions to improve Dev and Ops teams’ proficiency in DevOps practices and tools
• Provide ongoing support for CI/CD tools, ensuring they are optimally configured and utilized
• Work closely with team members to develop and execute strategies for DevOps transformation and continuous improvement

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, XLDeploy, ArgoCD, and Ansible
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Azure cloud services and Kubernetes
• Ability to write and maintain Python scripts for automation and other DevOps tasks
• Familiarity with Agile practices and ability to work effectively within an Agile team
• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher, enabling clear communication and documentation
