Field Support – Desktop Management

This is a hybrid opportunity based out of Santa Iria de Azóia or Crestins / Maia, working 4 days in the office per week.

As a Field Support Specialist, you will support our client in delivering top-notch IT assistance and solutions. From hardware to software, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining systems and ensuring seamless operations.

Your main responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line remote and onsite IT support for users.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for desktop systems.
• Manage Microsoft Windows client-server environments.
• Troubleshoot operating system components like services, processes, and files.
• Support Microsoft Outlook, Exchange, and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Assist with smartphone configurations and synchronizations (iOS and Android).
• Collaborate using ITSM tools to follow best practices.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• A relevant academic background in IT or related fields.
• 3-4 years of experience in desktop management and IT support.
• Expertise in Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networks and system architecture.
• Experience with ITSM tools and an analytical mindset.
• Nice to have: Background in the travel industry.
