Front-End Developer Angular

This is a Porto-based hybrid opportunity – 3x from home per week

As a Mid-Front-End Angular, you will be working for our client – a leader in the financial industry, exemplifying innovation, agility, and unwavering commitment to its clients. You will be responsible for engineering, developing, and supporting a library of UI Angular components based on the Design System of the client’s Group, working closely with a dedicated UX team.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with back-end developers and stakeholders to translate requirements into functional front-end code using Angular.js.

• Develop modular and scalable components, directives, and services in Angular.js

• Implement responsive layouts and ensure browser compatibility

• Conduct code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and propose optimizations to improve application efficiency and maintainability

• Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure the smooth functioning of web applications

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development and Angular.js

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Advanced knowledge of Javascript, Angular, HTML5,  Typescript

• Good knowledge of CSS and preprocessors like SASS/SCSS or LESS

• Good knowledge of RxJS

• Good knowledge of unit testing, with Jest, Jasmine/Karma, or similar

• Good knowledge of versioning systems, like Git

• Good knowledge of NPM – managing libraries and dependencies

• Familiarity with Accessibility

• Knowledge of E2E testing, with tools like Cypress

• Knowledge of Web components

• Knowledge of frameworks like Vue, React, or others

• Knowledge of code quality control tools, like Sonar

• Knowledge of linters and formatters, like ESLint and Prettier

• Good English level

• Knows or is willing to learn French
