Junior .Net Developer

This is a Hybrid Porto-based opportunity.

As a Junior .Net Developer, you will work for our client – a leader in the financial industry, exemplifying innovation, agility, and unwavering commitment to its clients! You will be responsible for developing and maintaining .NET applications under the guidance of senior developers, while actively participating in the software development lifecycle and assisting in troubleshooting and debugging tasks.

Your main responsibilities:

• Implement features and functionalities in a .NET environment using C# for both front and backend
• Design and develop efficient, reusable, and reliable code adhering to KISS and SOLID principles
• Identify and address bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues to ensure application quality and responsiveness
• Maintaining code quality, and organization, and enforcing best practices through Pull Request reviews
• Collaborate with the team in an Agile environment, contributing to continuous improvement and a craftsmanship mindset

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Proficiency in C#, and .Net for frontend and backend programming
• Familiarity with WPF and Windows Forms for frontend development
• Experience with SQL Server for database management
• Knowledge of testing automation tools such as Selenium and NUnit
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins, along with familiarity with version control using Git and Trunk-based development methodology
