Performance Testing Collaborator – Banking Sector

Are you passionate about technical testing and ensuring the highest quality in performance?

This is a Porto-based hybrid opportunity – 2x per week in the office.

As a Performance Testing Collaborator, you will be working for our client, a leading financial services provider. You will play a pivotal role in performance testing, ensuring seamless integration of changes and new features into our production platform. Your work will directly support the stability and efficiency of critical financial applications.

Your main responsibilities:

• Perform technical tests on distributed servers and validate logs (e.g., IIS, S.O. consumption).
• Prepare test infrastructures and analyze performance tools such as Neoload, JMeter, or Loadrunner.
• Contribute to diagnosing system issues and provide detailed reports for GO/NOGO decisions.
• Automate recurring tests and ensure continuous improvement of testing activities.
• Collaborate closely with the agile scrum team and report activities using JIRA.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• At least 2 years of experience with performance testing tools (Neoload, JMeter, Loadrunner).
• Familiarity with ELK, Grafana for dashboards; and Zabbix, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or DataDog.
• General knowledge of CI/CD tools like GIT, XL Deploy, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Strong Unix and Windows systems knowledge, and experience with application log analysis.
• Soft skills: B2 level of English, team player, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
