QA Engineer – Leasing and Factoring

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Lisbon – 3 from home per week.

As a Quality Analyst, you will be working for our client – a leader in leasing and factoring. You will be responsible for conducting thorough tests to ensure the reliability of our software and applications.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design and execute test plans based on product specifications and project requirements using Squash or X-Squash.
• Identify, document, and track anomalies or bugs via Mantis or Jira.
• Evaluate test coverage to ensure all functionalities are appropriately tested.
• Generate detailed test reports to communicate results to the development team and stakeholders.
• Maintain updated test suites during technical tool evolutions, coordinating with development and product teams.
• Propose test automation within a continuous improvement process.
• Support project teams.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• 3 to 7 years of experience in testing activities.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles and best testing practices.
• Ability to create test cases and execute manual or automated tests.
• Problem-solving skills and anomaly detection.
• Mastery of testing tools, methodologies, and processes.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changes.
• Skills in engaging various stakeholders and planning.
• Pragmatism, discernment, and autonomy.
• Technical skills in Jira, Mantis, Squash, Confluence, Xsquash, SQL, Python, Robotframework, Cucumber, Jenkins/CI.
