Red Hat Enterprise Linux Engineer

This is a hybrid Porto-based opportunity – 3x in the office

As a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Engineer, you will work for our client  – one of the largest TIC companies globally. You will be responsible for managing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting Linux servers in both stand-alone and clustered environments using automation.

Your main responsibilities:

• Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Linux servers in various environments

• Maintain and upgrade storage servers and SAN switches

• Administer and optimize Vmware servers

• Collaborate with other teams to implement business requirements, security policies, compliance rules, and network connectivity flows

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in Linux systems administration

• Proficiency with Linux clustering technologies

• Experience with automation tools and processes

• Solid experience with Vmware virtualization

• Knowledge of storage server management

• Demonstrated understanding of infrastructure services and networking topologies

• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Good English and Portuguese communication skills (written and oral)
