This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – 3 days from home per week.

As a Sustainability Consultant, you will be working for our client – a pioneering force in integrating sustainable practices across industries, dedicated to shaping a greener, more responsible business landscape. You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of robust RSE strategies, ensuring our client’s operations and values are aligned with the highest standards of environmental and social governance.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Conduct materiality analysis to pinpoint key environmental and social issues relevant to the client’s operations and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to assess the client’s current sustainability practices and performance.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive RSE strategy, setting measurable KPIs to track progress.
  • Stay abreast of the latest sustainability developments, innovations, and regulations to guide the client’s actions.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and employees, to build trust and ensure alignment with RSE objectives.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

  • A solid grasp of sustainability principles and frameworks, with experience in materiality analysis, carbon footprint assessment, and life cycle analysis.
  • Proven proficiency in project management and the ability to effectively coordinate multiple initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to engage with diverse audiences through diplomacy and active listening.
  • A curious and adaptable mindset, keen on staying informed about evolving sustainability practices and regulations.
  • Strong analytical abilities, capable of synthesizing complex information to provide actionable insights tailored to the client’s context
  • Fluency in English
